Israeli authorities have issued a permit for 300 Palestinian Christians residing in Gaza to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
The 300 pilgrims are expected to cross into Israel on their way to Jerusalem on Holy Tuesday.
At last count, only 1,138 Christian Palestinians reside in the Gaza strip.
According to an Israeli official, at least 1,000 applications for the pilgrimage were submitted for the current Easter season ,with only 300 granted.
