A round-table discussion took place at the National Hellenic Research Foundation on Monday afternoon, on the subject of “…From Byzantium to the Ottomans: Macedonia in transition, as shown by the Vatopedi Monastery’s Documents”.
The discussion, organized by the Institute for Historical Research, was held on the occasion of the publication of a third edition in the series Byzantine Documents.
On behalf of Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, the monk Arsenios of Vatopedi welcomed the participants.
