A new edition by the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, one of the venerable monasteries that comprise the semi-autonomous Orthodox monastic community of Mt. Athos, is devoted to the life, teachings and spiritual guidance of Elder Iosif – Joseph – (1921-2009). Iosif’s monastic calling left an indelible mark on the community’s monastic life and the enlightenment of his spiritual pupils.
Archimandrite Ephraim, the Superior (Abbot) of Vatopedi Monastery, himself a spiritual pupil of the Blessed Elder, in the book recounts his own personal experience with Iosif.
