Vatopedi Publications has unveiled the Abridged Anastasimatarion by Petros Peloponnisios, the third scholarly paper in the series Vatopedi Musical Studies, edited and presented by choir director and Byzantine musicologist Georgios Konstantinou.
Anastasimatarion is the service book of the Orthodox Church, containing the Ana-STA-sima, or Resurrectional hymns of the vesper, the Sunday matins, and certain other hymns divided according to the eight tones of the eight-week cycle.
