The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beautitude Ieronymos, will celebrate the Great Feast Day of the Dormition of the Theotokos, the Ever Virgin Mary, on the Saronic Gulf island of Hydra.
The Primate of the Church of Greece will preside at the Great Vespers on Wednesday afternoon at the Cathedral of the Dormition on the iconic islet. On Thursday morning, he will preside at the Matins concelebration, before later attending a ceremony where he will be declared an honorary citizen of the island municipality.
