His Beatitude Archbishop Georgios of New Justiniana and All Cyprus was warmly welcomed to the Holy Archdiocese of Athens by His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece. During their meeting, the two church leaders discussed a range of issues of mutual concern.
Archbishop Georgios highlighted the significance of the Cyprus issue, stating, “What troubles us the most is our national problem, the Cyprus issue.” Their discussion underscored the shared challenges and concerns faced by the Churches of Greece and Cyprus.
