The newly enthroned Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, His Eminence Nikitas, met on Thursday in London with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, the head of the Anglican Church.
The two ecclesiastical leaders discussed issues dealing with their ministries and social issues affecting the UK, such modern-day slavery and religious freedoms.
Both hierarchs cited their excellent cooperation so far and continued joint cooperation for the spiritual progress and harmonious co-existence between the Anglican and Orthodox faithful in the UK.
