The Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, was briefly admitted to a hospital in southern California this week for tests, before being discharged on Tuesday.
His Eminence was admitted to Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center on the third day of his pastoral visit to the Archdiocese’s Metropolis of San Francisco, and after feeling unwell.
According to a statement by the Archdiocese of America, the Archbishop underwent tests and was diagnosed with a minor infection, for which antibiotics and rest were prescribed.
