The Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, this week visited the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, as part of his ongoing tour of the Holy Land and visit to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
On Monday, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III, welcomed Archbishop Makarios at the Patriarchate, along with members of the Hagiotaphite Brotherhood.
During the meeting, the Patriarch of Jerusalem inducted the Archbishop as a Grand Commander in the Community of the All-Holy Sepulchre.
