The Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, arrived in Greece this past week, where among others, he was received by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday.
After Greece, Makarios will be received at the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople by His All Holiness Bartholomew I, before departing for Jerusalem, where he will meet with the Greek Orthodox Patriarch, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III.
The Archbishop of Australia will also visit Finland and Estonia.
While in Athens, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Antonis Diamataris, who holds the expatriate Greeks and ecclesiastical portfolio, hosted a reception in honor of Makarios.
