The Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, officiated at the solemn services on the Fourth Sunday of Lent at the Cathedral of the Resurrection, in the Sydney suburb of Kogarah, accompanied by several other Hierarchs of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.
Addressing the congregants, Archbishop Makarios referred to the virtues of faith, prayer, and fasting, while explaining the Gospel passage of the day, which describes the miracle of the healing of the demon-possessed young man by Jesus Christ.
