On Friday, 5 June, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia warmly received, at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese, the Board of the Parish of Saint Euphemia in Bankstown, Sydney.
During the meeting, an update was provided and a fruitful discussion took place concerning the life and progress of the Parish of Saint Euphemia, with emphasis on matters relating to the course and further educational development of Saint Euphemia College.
Together, the Archbishop and the Parish Board welcomed the continuation of Mrs Penny Pachos’ tenure as Principal of Saint Euphemia College. They also expressed their hope and conviction that the educational institution will continue to grow and prosper, offering a high standard of education inspired by the values of the Orthodox faith and the Greek cultural heritage, for the benefit of its students, the Greek community, and the wider society of Australia.
