Archbishop of Cyprus Chrysostomos reposes in the Lord

The Archbishop of Cyprus Chrysotomos II reposed in the Lord today early Monday morning at the Archdiocese residence, after weeks of illness and care there. The Archbishop was 81.
The Metropolitan of Paphos, His Grace Georgios, has been appointed as the locum tenens of the throne, until the election and enthronement of a new Archbishop of Cyprus.
