The Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, His Eminence Nikitas, on Wednesday received the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus, Ioannis Kousoulides, at the Archdiocese headquarters in London.
Kousoulides was accompanied by Andreas Kakouris, the High Commissioner of Cyprus to the United Kingdom.
Following a brief tour of the Archdiocese chapel and a prayer, talks touched on matters of mutual interest, including the Archbishop’s upcoming visit to Cyprus, the Orthodox community in the country, as well as centenary celebrations that will accompany His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s visit to the United Kingdom in October.
