The Archbishop of Warsaw and Metropolitan of All Poland, His Beatitude Sawa, participated in con-celebratory services at the parish of the Dormition of the Theotokos in the Krynoczka region, where He officiated at the Divine Liturgy, held a day after the Monday of the Holy Spirit.
In a sermon, His Beatitude noted that “…such feast days are useful in reinforcing our faith against temptations, and against the evil that exists in the world. Orthodoxy means to attest to the truth of God in a world that is moving away from God.”
