His Eminence Elpidophoros is expected to visit the Hurricane-ravaged Bahamas islands in the coming period, in order to assist in the coordination of the Archdiocese of America’s humanitarian aid towards residents there, following the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Dorian.
The Orthodox community in the Bahamas is served by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Nassau, which was founded 90 years ago by Greek immigrants.
