Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday received a Church delegation led by the Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslav, and Exarch of All Belarus, His Eminence Pavel.
The Belarus Metropolitan arrived in the Caucasus country at the invitation of the Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II — and with the blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill.
According to Pashinyan, Armenia and Belarus are united through age-old historic and cultural ties, and with the role of the Churches in maintaining these ties judged as imperative.
