Association of Orthodox Theology Students of Romania hosts lectures on subject of prayer

The Association of Orthodox Theology Students of Romania, under the coordination of the Patriarchate of Romania, is hosting three lectures next week on the subject of prayer, with a related conference to be held at the Patriarchal Hall in Bucharest.

The inaugural speaker will be the Church of Greece’s Metropolitan of Mesogea and Lavreotiki, His Eminence Nikolaos.

The next speaker will be the Church of Cyprus’ Metropolitan of Limassol, His Eminence Athanasios, who will broach the subject of “Prayer, according to St. Joseph the Hesychast.”

The final speaker at the three-day event, on Wednesday, Oct. 12, will be the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi.

The Elder Ephraim will speak on the topic of “Unity in Christ”. A live-stream will be available on Facebook, Youtube and the Trinitas TV platform.
