In the statement, which was introduced by Archpriest Mikheil Botkoveli on Monday evening, the Patriarch underlines that the analysis of the recent developments leaves the impression that there is another force, which wants to the tension between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
“We also call on both thee authorities of Georgia and Azerbaijan to conduct intensive negotiations to establish justice, in order maintain and deepen the friendly relations between our peoples and countries.
On the other hand, the Georgian Church expresses its readiness to be actively involved in this process,” the Patriarch’s statement reads.
