Christians comprise 1.9% of Israel’s population

Israel’s central bureau of statistics recently reported that approximately 185,000 Christians live in country, where they comprise about 1.9 percent of the state of Israel’s population.
Additionally, the statistics service, in a publication released on Christmas Eve last month, said the Christian population grew by 2 percent in 2021.

Moreover, 75.8 percent of Christians in Israel are Arab Christians, where they constitute 6.9 percent of the total Arab population of Israel. The municipalities with the largest Arab Christian populations are Nazareth, Haifa and Jerusalem.
