Members of the permanent Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, who convened on Tuesday, have decided to postpone an upcoming hierarchical assembly next month. The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, had asked the Church of Greece’s hierarchs to decide over a postponement, with 65 out of 82 in favor.
