A synaxis, or assembly, of Orthodox clergymen of the Diocese of Damascus and rural Damascus, held at the Patriarchal Monastery of St. George Al-Humyira, was concluded this week.
The sessions, which mostly dealt with pastoral issues and the study of the Gospels, were presided over by the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X.
