Commemoration of the Holy Ascension today

The Church today celebrates the Holy Ascension, whereby the Lord Jesus Christ passed 40 days on earth after His Resurrection from the dead, appearing continually in various places to His disciples, thereby further demonstrating His Resurrection.
In the morning, the Pemptousia platform live-streamed the Orthros and Divine Liturgy, on the occasion of the Holy Ascension, from the Cathedral of St. George, in the Papagos district of east Athens.
