The last in a series of online sessions of a scholarly conference focusing on the Greek War of Independence concluded on Tuesday with the address by the Metropolitan of Nea Krinis and Kalamaria, His Eminence Ioustinos.

The Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, summarized the conclusions of all the sessions held.
The series of lectures, panel discussions and presentations, many by distinguished academics, began last November, and was organized by the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi and the Holy Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, on the occasion of the bicentennial of the beginning of the 1821 Revolution.
