A celebratory Divine Liturgy was held on Monday at the St. Evangelicus the Hieromartyr chapel, in the village of Selli, in the Rethymno prefecture on the large island of Crete, with the blessing of the Metropolis of Rethymnis and Mylopotamos.
The Orthodoxia news agency was at the chapel, which was built several years ago in memoriam to a young technical school student from the area, who was brutally hazed in the northwest city of Ioannina, the late Vangelis Yiakoumakis.
