The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Wednesday evening concluded His nearly week-long pastoral visit to the northwest Greece city of Ioannina.
His All Holiness was declared an honorary professor of the University of Ioannina, during a festal ceremony at the amphitheater of the Karolos Papoulias Convention Center at the school.
In addressing an audience of academics, clerics and office-holders, the Ecumenical Patriarch called on today’s youth to discover the ministry and the joy of contribution. The Primate of the Mother Church of Constantinople also called on the faithful to build a society of solidarity.
