The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, this week inaugurated sessions – via video link – of the 5th conference on pastoral ministry in the health sector, which is taking place on the Dodecanese Island of Rhodes.
In his address, His All Holiness detailed how the Ecumenical Patriarchate reacted and managed the recent Covid-19 pandemic.
Among others, the shepherd of the Mother Church emphasized that public health crises should not be transformed into a field of conflict between faith and science, while calling on the faithful to trust the recommendations of experts.
