Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew turns 83

Today, the last day of February, witnesses the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew, celebrating his 83rd birthday. The Primate of the Mother Church’s actual birthday is on Feb. 29, a date that arises once every four years.
