The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Sunday concluded his four-day pastoral visit to Athens and returned to the Mother Church’s Phanar district see.
On Sunday, His All Holiness prayed along with other hierarchs during a Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. George in Penteli, north of Athens, a glebe of the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of St. John the Theologian of Patmos.
The Ecumenical Patriarch will return to Greece on July 11, for a visit to the northwest lake-side city of Ioannina.
