His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa, was honoured at a reception on Friday evening in Nairobi hosted by the Egyptian ambassador to Kenya, as the Shepherd of the Alexandria Patriarchate wound down a week-long pastoral visit to the country.
During the reception, held at the ambassador’s official residence, His Excellency Wael Nasr Attia praised the work and presence of the venerable Alexandria Patriarchate in the ancient land, Egypt.
On Saturday, His Beatitude traveled to the city of Nieri, where he consecrated a new church dedicated to Sts. Constantine and Helen, Equal to the Apostles, as well as a local clinic.
