Elder Metropolitan of Nairobi Makarios honored for his 45 years of pastoral, missionary work in Africa

The Elder Metropolitan of Nairobi, His Eminence Makarios, this year completes his 45th year of missionary work in sub-Saharan Africa, 30 years of which he ministered as a hierarch.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the Elder Metropolitan attended a con-celebratory Divine Liturgy at the parish of St. Paul. Afterwards, he was presented with a vestment by Archimandrite Elpidophoros Limneos, a gift from the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, as a token of honor and love for his great contribution to pastoral and missionary work in Africa, along with a congratulatory Patriarchal letter.
