Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, His Beatitude Epiphanius, has requested help from the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the European Union, and all democratic countries, as he said. The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, in a statement, said “invaders in the Donbass region are expected to confiscate 36 Churches and expel clerics.”
Epiphanius called for an intervention by the international community to prevent this outcome, which he said is scheduled for early March.
