The relevant Greek Deputy Interior Minister for Macedonia-Thrace, Stavros Kalafatis, this week inaugurated an event in the northern city of Thessaloniki devoted to psaltic musical tradition.
The event was organized by the ministry, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, where it was hosted, and the Society of Chanters of Thessaloniki.
