An exact replica of the wonder-working icon of the Panaghia Vimatarissa is preserved at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation in the Cretan town of Kissamos, with the blessing of the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi.
The miraculous Holy Icon is preserved at the venerable Mount Athos monastery.
On Wednesday, the Church of Crete’s Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selino, His Eminence Amphilochios, officiated at the Vesper and Resurrection Divine Liturgy, co-officiated by hierarchs and clergy.
