The long-awaited performance of excerpts from the trilogy “Long Hours”, will take place this evening, at 8.30 local time, at the Herod Atticus Odeon, located at the foot of the Acropolis in central Athens.
The State Orchestra of Athens, conducted by Stathis Soulis, 100 choristers from three separate choirs, along with artists Glykeria, Dimitris Bassis and Jonathan Jackson, the Emmy-award winning US musician and actor, will perform excerpts from an oratorio by composer Andreas Katsigiannis.

The latter is based on his work “The Place of Silence” and is dedicated to the memory of St. Joseph the Hysechast, while several pieces are inspired by the Panaghia, the Virgin Mary.

Greek stage actor Nikitas Tsakiroglou will narrate.

The event producer is the St. Maximus the Greek Institute, while the Pemptousia platform is a sponsor of the musical event.
