Exhibition of Greek War of Independence heirlooms held by Metropolises in Oct.

The Church of Greece this week called on Holy Metropolises to loan heirlooms and objects in their possession associated with the Greek War of Independence, and ahead of an exhibition in October at the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens.

This year marks the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution from dour Ottoman rule.
