The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude, Theophilos III, this week expressed his and the Patriarchical Holy Synod’s appreciation towards the King of Jordan, Abdallah II, for the latter’s major donation towards restoration works of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
During a meeting in Amman, the Jerusalem Patriarch said that “… The donation by his Majestic reflects the personal commitment of the king towards the safety and future of the Holy City.”
