Thousands of faithful continued to arrive at the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus to venerate the Holy Cincture of the Theotokos, the All-Holy Virgin Mary.
The Holy Cincture was conveyed to the cathedral last Saturday from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, and will remain at the specific parish until Nov. 13.
The Holy Cincture was conveyed on Saturday to Piraeus by the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, who was accompanied by Vatopedi Elders.
On Tuesday morning an Orthros service, followed by the Divine Liturgy, was held at the St. Nicholas Church in front of the matronal Holy Relic.
Pemptousia television has live-streamed all of the services from the St. Nicholas cathedral, as well as the procession and welcoming of the Holy Relic of the earthly life of the Theotokos.
