Feast day of Acindynos, Pegasios, Aphthonios, Elpidophoros & Anempodistos, Martyrs of Persia

The Church today venerates the memory of Acindynos, Pegasios, Af-thonios, Elpidophoros and Anempodistos, Martyrs of Persia.
On the occasion, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America issued an invitation to the faithful, on the occasion of the name-day of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, to attend a hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Wednesday morning at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Manhattan. A reception followed in the Archdiocese’s Chiotes Hall.
