The parish of Gomati, in northern Greece, on Tuesday celebrated the feast day of the Holy Forty Martyrs of Sebastia in traditional Athonite rite.
The Metropolitan of Ierissos, His Eminence Theoklitos, officiated at the Orthros service and Divine Liturgy – celebrated at the Byzantine-era Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral and the church of the Holy Forty Martyrs.
