The Metropolitan of Rethymno & Avlopotamos, His Eminence Prodromos, tomorrow, Friday, celebrates his name day, as June 24 annually commemorates the feast day of the Nativity of the Forerunner, John the Baptist.
A great Archieratical Vespers was held this afternoon at the celebrating Holy Monastery of St. John Prodromos at the Ba-LEE site, in Crete’s Rethymno prefecture. The service was officiated by His Eminence.
On Friday, an archieratical Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the monastery.
