The Church today venerates the memory of Haralambos the Holy Martyr and Wonder-worker.
St. Haralambos is the patron saint of the Greek cities of Pyrgos and Preveza, with festal services held on the eve of the feast day and today in both sites.
An archieratical Vespers was held on Thursday afternoon at the celebrating and dedicated cathedral in Preveza, officiated by the Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, His Eminence Ieronymos.
