A Great Vespers service was held at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Alexandria on Thursday, on the feast day of the Annunciation and the anniversary of the beginning of the Greek Revolution on March 25 1821.
The service was attended by the Patriarchal Vicar of Alexandria, Metropolitan of Naucratis, His Eminence Narcissus, who conveyed the patristic best wishes of the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II.
