The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, spoke on the course of his Church since 1990, when it was recognized and granted autocephaly by the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia reminded of the initiatives of late lamented Ecumenical Patriarch Demetrios to reconsider the canonical issue of the Georgian Church’s autocephaly.
