The increasingly contentious issue of holding a so-called “gay pride” parade in the Georgian capital of Tiblisi, again surfaced this month, with the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, referring to an effort to the destabilize the role of the family in the Caucasus country, as he said.
