Great feast of Christmas celebrated on Vatopedi, as based on Julian calendar

On the occasion of the great feast of the Nativity on Saturday, as based on the Julian calendar, the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Monastery of Vatopedi, along with Vatopedi Elders and pilgrims from around the world, assembled in the Mount Athos monastery’s synodal hall for the festal kerasma.
The Elder Ephraim extended his best Christmas wishes and spoke on the humanization of the Son of God, while revealing the exhortation he had received by St. Ephraim Katounakiotis when visiting the Holy Grotto within the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
