Deputy Foreign Minister Antonis Diamantaris, who holds the expatriate Greeks portfolio, was set to be received today by the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I.
While in Turkey, the Greek minister will tour several Patriarchate-affiliated schools and institutions, the Greek consulate in the Bosporus metropolis as well as the emblematic Haghia Sophia. He will meet with the board members of the Association for the Support of Greek Community Foundations and ethnic Greek journalists.
