Greece’s foreign ministry on Monday expressed its deep concern regarding recent developments related to a plot of land belonging to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and specifically in the Wadi Hilweh area, in Silouan.
The statement reads, “…We reiterate in the strongest terms, our continued support for the protection of the property rights and privileges of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem.”
