Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos is scheduled to meet with the new Archbishop of America Elpidophoros on Tuesday morning.
Elpidophoros was selected earlier this month to replace Demetrios who resigned at the beginning of May.
The decision was taken by the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantionpople.
