On Wednesday, 19 August 2026, during the celebrations for the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Perth attended the Matins and Divine Liturgy at the Hellenic Aged Care in Dianella, Perth.
Hellenic Aged Care is owned and operated by the Hellenic Community of Western Australia and provides aged care residential services to a number of Greek and Orthodox residents.
The elderly faithful participated in the Divine Liturgy with great reverence and solemnity and had the blessing of receiving Holy Communion.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace blessed the residents and wished them a blessed Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos.
